Consultation & Design Assistance
Striking a balance between design and safety has always been an issue for some. At Nilfire we understand the issues with fire ratings and know you definitely do not want a building covered in brick walls or garage doors. Our Nilfire consultants are fully trained to discuss your plans, requirements and walk you through your options.
Workshop Drawings
Nilfire’s workshop drawings are provided as our second stage of approval. To ensure that your order is exactly in accordance with your requirements, we request that these workshop drawings are checked, approved and signed by you before they progress to manufacture. Workshop drawings demonstrate and explain the finer details of our product. Internal and external views are illustrated with all dimensions, handings and hardware included.
Manufacture
Nilfire manufactures its products from local and imported materials. All production takes place in our Warriewood based factories in Sydney. Each unit is designed and manufactured with a great deal of care by Nilfire’s highly trained staff. Fire safety is our priority. All Nilfire systems are meticulously manufactured to our fully tested design standards.
Supply only or Installation
Depending on your budget, location or procedures Nilfire will endeavour to find a way to help. Nilfire products are personally supplied and installed on site by our highly trained and experienced glaziers. However if you would prefer the supply only option, Nilfire can securely crate your products and have them delivered. A detailed installation manual will be provided for your convenience.
Australian Standard Certification
All Nilfire products are tested to and comply with the relevant Australian Standards. Australian Standards are designed to ensure products, services and systems are safe, reliable and consistently perform the way they were intended to. In order to adhere to the relevant Australian Standard, Nilfire and its affiliates have developed a rigorous product design, development and testing program. Our product design, development testing program, products and systems were recognised in 2011 by the Victorian Building Commision. This recognition was in the form of a grant to design and develop glazing systems for use in BAL FZ Bushfire Prone areas. Upon completion all Nilfire clients are issued with certification verifying that their product complies with the relevant Australian Standard.
